Endometriosis happens when the tissue of a uterine lining or woman’s endometrium grows outside of the uterus, sometimes in its adjacent organs.
Endometriosis is present among 6 to 10 percent of women in the childbearing age and about 5 million women in the United States,
It also affects many other women who don’t know they have it, based on the view of National Institutes of Health.
Most women do not show symptoms, but some women experience pain in the pelvis and abdomen.
The treatment for the symptoms of Endometriosis include Shodana / purification and detoxification treatment and High Intensity herbo-mineral medication.
What does endometriosis mean?
Endometriosis occurs in women if the endometrial tissue lining the uterus grows on the outside of the uterus, commonly into organs near the uterus. For example, the most common location for endometriosis is the outside muscles of the Uterus the myometrium. Other locations are the rectum, deep pelvic sidewall, bladder and Ovaries.
This disorder causes pelvic pain when a woman has a period and causes uterine scarring. The lining of the uterus or endometrium responds to hormonal changes, and menstrual bleeding resulting in decreasing levels of progesterone at the end of the cycle. The abnormally located endometrial tissue responds to these hormonal changes and then bleeds and causes symptoms and scarring.
Endometriosis affects females aged 15 to 45, who are of reproductive age. According to the National Institutes of Health, 10 – 15 percent of women in this age group have the disease. The cause of endometriosis remains unknown. Researchers have found that estrogen exacerbates the disorder. Studies show menopausal women with this condition experience decrease in estrogen and may stop having symptoms.
Women carry limited number of eggs and with the progressing reproductive years, the eggs lacks in quality and number. This decreases the chances of having baby by 3%-5% after the age of 30. The reduction in fertility is found to extend after the age of 40.
